This last Thursday in my Avant- Garde class we learned about Jackson Pollock and painted in the same style as he did, drip painting or splatter painting. This little film we watched that he narrated was really interesting because he had cans of paint and he was just flinging it on the canvas that created extraordinary patterns without it being done on purpose. So we did our own painting and this is mine. It was really messing and its kind of hard to work on the floor but the feeling I got while throwing paint on to my canvas (cardboard) was just exhilarating, it is just so carefree. There was no rhyme or reason to where I put paint it was just to put the paint on the canvas. Like Jackson Pollock, I ran out side and grabbed some random things like leaves and a flower and threw it on there and continue to cast paint on top of everything. With My Road Trip right around the corner, which my cousin and me are soooooo excited about. I decided to look up a countdown before a trip checklist well I could not find one so I made my own. Most oil changes are needed every 5,000 - 7,500 miles so if you are driving far you may need one before and after the trip.
